If you are one of these people, it’s all right because there are many natural ways to get relief. You don’t have to pay huge prices for surgeries that may or may not work, and can even cause problems that are worse, or spend money on creams and pads that may contain harmful chemicals. Pads and creams, while they may be good at alleviating symptoms, are not a solution to the problem, and provide only temporary relief.

This means that as long as you are doing what you’re supposed to, there is only a small chance that your problem will continue.

There first few methods are not that hard, but it may take some getting used to. Diet often plays an important role in causes of hemorrhoids in the first place. Eating a lot of spicy foods, fried and processed foods can irritate your bowels, your sphincter, and this can often cause hemorrhoids. Changing your diet, including many green vegetables, ones that don’t cause a lot of gas, and cutting back on foods you know will upset your stomach, can help relieve the causes and symptoms. If you have hemorrhoids often, it may take a few months to get the full effects of this change.

Many people go to the bathroom the wrong way. Some people wait so long before having a bowel movement that by the time the get to the bathroom, nothing comes out, or they have to strain to have a movement. What happens when you wait to long to go is that your body tends to have temporary, or false constipation. Others sit on the toilet, trying to force a movement, and this can cause hemorrhoids to form, because they often form because of a blown blood vessel in and around this area. Only sit for three to five minutes maximum, and don’t wait until the last minute to go.

Now if you need a faster acting hemorrhoids treatment, then there are some things you can do as well. One of the most common items in any drug store, that is natural and has been used for many years as a quick acting pain reliever is witch hazel. It is made from the bark and leaves of the Hamanelis virginiana plant, and comes as a liquid, or an ointment, and even in medicated pads. It is poisonous, so it can’t be taken internally, but if applied to the effected area, can provide quick relief for the pain, swelling and itching of your hemorrhoids.
